So are you all set up for the birth of your first baby? It’s an exciting time, one that you begin to worry, and make sure you have everything you need. Of course you should have friends who are going to throw a shower, so some of those items you need can be gotten that way. But there are other ways to seek out the purchase of those items you need for your baby.

We are talking about second hand shops and consignment shops. These places offer you many different items, and even brand names. Say you’re bound and determined to buy a britax car seat, but the price for new is just too much. Head over to a consignment shop and you might find a fairly new one for a lot less money.

It’s not just products that are bigger that you can buy at these locations though. Many of them have everything imaginable. Like clothes that still have price tags attached. You’ll see as your child gets older just how easily it is to happen!

Or other items that you may not think of buying used, as long as you take them home and clean them. Like that isis breast pump that all your friends who have kids say you need. If you don’t want to chance it that you will receive these items as presents, check out these stores. There is nothing wrong with being prepared a bit early in case you have a baby who comes out early.

Trust me by the time you get to six or seven months you’ll have felt that it’s been a lot longer. Nine months your ready and wishing that baby will come out very quickly. It’s not a very easy time on women during those months, probably not the husbands who have to listen to us either.

But you may wonder if you’ve bought most of the items at that second hand store, well what you will request for the shower. Let’s just put it this way, you can never have enough of certain things when it comes to kids. Asking for towels and blankets will never fail you, but also think about baby bath tubs. Allowing you to keep your baby harm free while cleaning him or her up.

So buy those things or ask for them on your registry for that baby shower. Hopefully you’ve spent time picking out names too. If you haven’t yet, well you better start thinking soon. Those nine months may seem like forever, but they will pass by.

It will be a wonderful time in your life, one that is very hard to explain until you’ve experienced it yourself. But enjoy the time while they are little and don’t talk, because soon they will be arguing back as a teen!
