TAG Watches

TAG Heuer watches are known for their great quality and accuracy the world over. The swiss based company has a long history, spanning 150 years from it’s foundation by Edouard Heuer and his 2 sons. As a luxury brand these watches are always been a great gift because of the prestige and high value.

The number of timepieces available is huge but there are a few that stand out and deserve a special mention.  For instance one of the earliest designer watches to be associated with a celebrity icon was the TAG Monaco, as made famous by Steve McQueen. TAG have made a new version of this classic watch to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original.  The movement features a fully automatic chronograph, with the retro feel of the original blue face.

The Link Calibre S is a watch that shows a real cutting edge technology in watchmaking.  The chronograph function causes the main hands of the watch to move to the 12 o’clock position ready for timing an event.  Reverting back to the time function sees these hands return to display the correct time. It also contains 2 half moon dials which represent the 1/10th and 1/100th of a second when in chronograph mode.

There are also many “everday” Tag watches that still exude the same quality and of course there is also a fantastic ladies range available. The Formula 1 Glamour Diamonds watch is a womens version of the regular Formula 1 range, set with 120 diamonds around the bezel. It is identical to the gents version in terms of features, water resistant to 200m and scratch proof sapphire crystal glass.

With so many great products to choose from it would be difficult to single one out to give as a gift for someone or yourself, but it’s fair to say that TAG are a brand that have proved themselves over many years so quality is pretty much guaranteed whatever the choice.
